More on Sligo Live (22-27 Oct. 2014)

Following up on the news from the Corner Boys,* the BIB notes that Sligo Live, 'Ireland's Folk, Root & Indie Festival', is presenting 'Intimate Music on the Wild Atlantic Way' in sixty-four separate music events during its six days (22-27 Oct. 2014).

From a look over the website's lineup pages, it appears that bluegrass, old-time, or related music will be heard at the following shows (in chronological order):

Thurs. 23rd: Demolition String Band, Furey's, Bridge St., 9.30 p.m.
Ruby Ridge (led by Gerry Grennan of the Corner Boys), Hargadons, 10.00 p.m.

Sat. 25th: Corner Boys, Lyons Cafe, 3.00 p.m.
Rackhouse Pilfer, Garavogue, 3.00 p.m.

Sun. 26th: We Banjo 3, Hawk's Well Theatre, 8.00 p.m. Reserved seating €18.00
Sheryl Crow, supported by Old Hannah, Knocknarea Arena, 8.30 p.m., €45.00 general admission (standing)
Rackhouse Pilfer, Stage 2, 5th On Teeling (Festival Club), 11.30 p.m., €10 in advance; €12 on door

*Not to be confused with the Wexford band Corner Boy, in a different musical genre.
